How to request deletion: Email

from the same address you used to create your Hailo account. We will verify your identity and delete your account and associated data.
Email account deletion request
1. Steps to delete your account
- Open the Hailo app and confirm the email address on your parent account (or note it from your signup confirmation).
- Send an email to
privacy@gethailoapp.com
with the subject line Account deletion request.
- Include the account email and a short confirmation that you want the account and all associated data deleted.
- We may reply to verify you control the account (for example, asking you to confirm from the registered email).
- Once verified, we process the deletion. You will receive a confirmation email when it is complete.
Important: Account deletion is permanent. You will lose access to child profiles, session logs, milestones, themes/settings synced to the cloud, and any Parent Hub history linked to that account.
2. Data that is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we delete:
- Your Firebase Authentication account (email / login credentials)
- Your parent user record
- All child profiles linked to your account (names, age ranges, preferences, optional profile photos)
- Session logs, milestones, and other learning progress stored in our cloud database
- Files associated with your account in cloud storage (for example, child profile photos)
3. Data that may be retained (and for how long)

Target completion: within 30 days of a verified deletion request, consistent with our
Privacy Policy.
4. Additional notes
- Children do not create their own Hailo accounts. Deleting the parent account removes all linked child profiles.
- If you only want to remove one child’s profile (and keep the parent account), say so in your email and we will help.
- Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your cloud account. You must request deletion as described above.
